Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware for Samsung Fascinate Smartphone

This is simple guide for you to update Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware for your Samsung Fascinate.
(technostall.com)

Install Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware:

  • First of all, you would need to download AOKP Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware Package and Google Apps Package to your PC.
  • Then, connect your device with PC via the original USB cable and transfer both the zip files in your phone.
  • Now, disconnect phone from PC and turn it off. This would make your phone enter the recovery mode. (Recovery mode could also be entered with the ROM Manager app which could be, in turn, downloaded from Google Play Store)
  • For entering the recovery mode, press Volume Up and Volume Down keys simultaneously and then press the power button.
  • While the device is in recovery mode, select “install zip from SD card>choose zip from SD card”. This would install both the files which you downloaded earlier.
To check whether the update procedure has been applied successfully or not, follow the path: “Settings” then go to “About Phone” and then tap to “Firmware Version”.

Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware Measures:

  • The device must be rooted. To check whether your device is rooted or not, you need to download the “Root Checker” app from the Google Play Store. The warranty of your device gets void once you root it.
  • Backup all your data as it is always safe to have a copy of all your data in case it gets lost during the updating process. Use “SMS Backup and Restore app” and “Call Log and Restore”, copy the images, Songs, Files and videos to the internal or external SD card
  • Enable USB debugging in your device.
  • The minimum battery charge should be 50% so that device does not get turned off in the middle of the updating procedure.
  • All the antivirus suites in your device should be disabled or uninstalled.
  • Install the Samsung Dive in your device. Even if it is already installed, install it again.

Motorola Droid RAZR M 4G LTE Available & Details in Sept

The Motorola Droid RAZR HD might not be the only real belle with the big ball Verizon and Motorola have planned for September 5th. It may not even be the only RAZR! Laptopvision's moles have found pictures and info on a Motorola phone going by the tongue-twisting name of Droid RAZR M 4G LTE, which looks plenty like the Droid RAZR we already know (and having a great deal of affection).
The largest change tends to lie in the centre of the phone. Assuming laptopvision's sources are correct, the Motorola Droid RAZR M 4G LTE uses a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, that ought to be better than the 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP discovered the first Droid RAZR.

Excluding boosting the front camera from 1.3MP to 3MP, the remainder of the specs pretty well fall in agreement with original, with 1GB of RAM, an 8-MP rear camera, Android 4.0 but a 4.3-inch 960 x 540 Super AMOLED Advanced display protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 2. The inner storage gets a bump right down to 8GB (from 16GB in the whole RAZR), but there's a microSD slot to dull that pain. Global GSM /UMTS/HSPA and NFC support round out the specs. And yes, there's Kevlar aplenty.
The Droid RAZR HD is rumored to complement most of those specs 's also the dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor but will supposedly swap out the qHD display to purchase slightly larger 4.5-inch screen with a true 1080p resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Leak

Samsung's teasing video of what s widely assumed to become the Galaxy Note 2 gave whimsical, fleeting glances of all the upcoming tablet, but little else. Fans of a more technical nature were left wanting for specs until earlier this week, as soon as the Seoul Newspaper ran a collection of the Galaxy Note 2 supposed internals. As documented in the some tech news source and reviews, the Galaxy Note 2 will sport a ginormous 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display utilizing a 1280 x 720 resolution and be coupled with a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor. An 8-MP rear camera, 4G LTE connectivity and either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage may also be onboard. Somewhat surprisingly, the newspaper claims the phone will ship will Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, not Ice Cream Sandwich. Which can become a pleasing surprise if it is true.

The Seoul Newspaper claims the Galaxy Note 2 will carry the GT-N7100 designation, which matches the data drudged up from the Christian Post. That publication claims that Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Note 2 will ship sometime in the whole 40th week of one's year, which falls between October 1st and October 7th. That goes hand in hand with earlier reports which the phone will launch sometime in October.
